mixing clear and colored powders together

Has anybody mixed clear coat and colored powders together so that one
process can be done instead of two.

think about it like this.the pc is formulated to give a uniform color.mixing color and clear together would in effect"thin"the color.creating a "candy" like color.

i know painters that do that with liguid paint to achieve a candy color but even they always clear over that.to seal it and to give that extra "pop"

best to color and clear.

i have done this mixing them 50/50 and also 25/75 and there seems to be no real difference except it will come out smooth even if you dont put quite enough powder on it.
