Default Questions about 1/16 pushrod seals and Seawolf fittings kit

I ordered 1/16" pushrod seals, but which end faces the water? The concave end?

I also ordered the Seawolf fittings kit, but have two questions. One, don't the bow plane peices need to be cut so make them movable? Two, shouldn't the stern planes and rudders use some brass tubing as a "bearing?" Or is it not ncessary on the Seawolf polystyrene hull?

I'd welcome any help or advice, thanks.

Default Re: Questions about 1/16 pushrod seals and Seawolf fittings kit

1. It doesn''t matter which end faces the outside.
2. Bow planes need to be cut along the line
3.No inserts are needed.

Thanks
