ive been looking at the posts but dont see what im looking for just yet , i have a late 60`s ford truck with a anodized aluminum grill , after years of being in the weather and belt buckles i have a few scratches and what looks like cobwebs and oxidizing , i know i can strip it and polish the aluminum , how can i get this original chrome /polished look back with the anodizing

is there any kit that will give me back the original look of late 60s aluminum trim i dont want to have to redo this stuff to look different, my grill for my ford is about 5 feet long and 18 inches high and 3 - 5 inches deep so i would have to build a good size tank for any plating/ano i put on,

      thanks potsked,
from the sounds of it i might just leave it polished or powdercoat it and if i could go buy a new one for under 600 bucks id do that ! new 68 ford grills is rare as hens teeth ! but thanks for the run down on what is needed , is there a special dye for that polished aluminum look? say if i wanted to do some smaller peices

thanks and thanks for next time , bryon
