  • Changing anodizing solution?

Does the anodizing solution ever get used up and need to be replaced, chemically speaking and assuming the volume remains constant?

Sure, the acidity eventually gets weakened and needs to be replaced.

Make sure to dispose of it properly at your municipal HAZMAT disposal center. Some service stations will also take battery acid for a price.

Is it still hazardous if we neutralize it with baking soda (about 2 gal of solution)?

      Thanks again.

Probably not, but dump it properly anyway.
