  • Definitive Chiller Thread

I have my JBJ chiller plumbed in but I was hoping to find some clarification on a few things. The schematic shows that the core is grounded. Does that ground need to be removed? Will it detract from the anode and cathode? There are a few threads on here with some people complaining that their bath turned purple and a few other problems. Nothing was 100% rectified but it sounded like simple user error. There was mention of this ground removal though.

Anyway, it would be good to have a definitive, "set your chiller up like this" as the guys at Caswell were unsure of the above question too.

Note - I will be running the chiller directly inline with my agitation pump. I don't want to be bothered with running the chiller closed loop through a cooling bath. room is of the essence thus having it circulate the ano bath directly through it.
