Black dust in ano tank

I was recently trying to figure out my consistancy problems, and i noticed that there are fine dust-like black particles laying on the bottom of my ano tank. it is pretty much everywhere, but not consistantly, its concentrated underneath the cathodes and in the middle of the tank, where the anodes might be. what might this be, could it be causing an adverse effect on my results?

I get a black buildup on my aluminum cathodes if they're left in the tank. This might be what you're seeing.
