Although it may be possible to use the stripper without submerging the part, it will be very difficult and messy.

Perhaps sandblasting/beadblasting or sanding could be used to selectively remove anodizing from parts that you can't submerge.

    stripping without submerging?

I bought the anodize stripper to use on my motorcycle parts that I will then polish. Some parts are going to be real hard to submerge though, like my frame and wheels. Is there a way to brush the stripper on to the parts? Or any other way than submerging the part? Also on some parts like my frame, I only want to strip/polish part of. Not the whole thing.

    Thanks.
