From Technology of Anodising by Arthur Brace (196:
The pores produced in an anodic coating are in the region of 100-250 angstroms diameter (footnote: 1 angstrom = 3.397x10^-9 in.) and the wall of the oxide surrounding them is about 100-200 angstoms whilst the length of the pore is 5000 to 25000 greater than the pore diameter.
