  • new to anodizing

I am just getting started on a very small scale. What material can I use to hang parts on ,that the acid won\'t eat right away? I hope to purchase a kit in the near future. If I can get a handle on this small process first.I was told that fabric dyes work to color alum. Is this true? Thank you for any help you could give me.

You need to source some aluminum wire to hang the parts on.

Yes fabric dyes will work, as does food coloring, but the results are very tempermental. Proper anodizing dyes ensure good results.

Thank you for your reply. Does your company have bright color dyes? Do the dyes need to be heated to take to the metal better?
