I've electro-etched parts in the machine shop but never tried to anodize one of them. From what I've seen anodizing, it should work and show good with no color or a lighter color. I just can't say definitely. -

Has anyone tied to etch a logo on a part prior to anodising? Is it sucessful?
Obviously you can't do it afterward as anodizing is non conductive
