    I'm trying to find the 8"x8" lead cathodes for anodinzing. Here is what I found, is thsi correct ?

    Usually the lead cathodes are listed as a GP plate. The plate you listed is for anodize but I can't say which material type it is.

    Anodizing can be done with lead or aluminum cathodes. If you prefer lead, you might should give Caswell a call to verify the material type. Sorry I couldn't give a definitive answer.

      Thanks I will call them. I don't see a email anywhere or i would email them and ask, will be next week before I can call. Trying to round up the last parts... I may be saying that for a long time

        Either the anodizing anode you saw, or the GP Plate will work. They're both exactly the same part...made of lead. No one ever knows what a GP Plate is (General Purpose Plate), so we also sell them under the name Anodizing Anode.

        And yes, we call them anodes even though they're cathodes in anodizing. We called them cathodes at the start, but the new anodizers got too confused.
