  • Sput welding???

Caswell is out of sput welders (dang... should have got one when I could), and they're not sure about when or if they will find a new supplier.
Anybody that has one, or knows about them have an idea of how to build one? I'm no electronics wizard, but a schematic, or at least a theory could help me out.

    Yeah me too.
If you go to a search engine and put in 'capacitive discharge' you'll find schematics and theory. I've been thinking about experimenting with an automotive ignition coil or a television flyback transformer.

I'm pretty sure we still have a couple of these Sputwelders in stock. I know I have a new boxed one at home.

        ME, I'm first!
I spoke on line with your "on-line help" guy, and he said you were out, and won't be getting more any time soon.
PLEASE sell me the one you have.
