  • Low temp. anodize sealant

Has anyone used the new,low temperature anodize sealant.I would like to know how well it works in comparison to regular sealant.
The quest for knowledge is the most desirable of human traits.

I am also interested in this. How warm is "lukewarm." I have heard conflicting stories. in the rec.crafts.metalworking newsgroup, I was told that one would have to hold this at 190F for sealing, which seems far from lukewarm in my opinion.

In order to buy a new chemical, it would have to be much easier to use than boiling water, faster, or produce more consistent colors.

      NeoMoses,

Nickel acetate (anodize sealer)is available in 2 flavors that I know of. One has to be heated to boil or all most boiling, and the low temp, which works around 90 degrees. Anodize sealer is faster and easier that boiling water or steam. The 190 deg mentioned in alt.rec.metalworking is that standard sealant.
