Plugs

I'm about to plate a couple of engine cylinders from an antique outboard. They are cast iron with steel sleeves. The original finish was dull nickle and I hope to duplicate it. I obviously do not want to plate the inside of the cylinders. Can plastic plugs be used? If not, are there easy to remove coatings that I can use?

Yes, you can use plastic plugs. You can also use a lacquer based mask...see the discussion board for new products below.
