I was wondering if this is at all possible and how it would affect my sound. I play in several bands and want to stand out just alil bit more then everyone else since I play lead in everything... anyway.. I would like to black chrome both the yellow and rose brass on my trombone on the outside and have a nickel or chrome plate on the inside of the bell and on the lip, it would be easy for me to mask off the bell. I am more worried about my tone quality, I know a silver plated bone and a gold plated bone.. or even a rose bone like mine sound completely different from a yellow brass bone. Any comments or questions are gladly appreciated
