  • carbon filtering duration - acid copper

    Hello,

I have the caswell bright acid copper electroplating kit. I am using a 12 litre solution. I did a carbon filter overnight (17 hrs) to try and rectify some nodule build up on edges, but found no change after the filter and the copper plate still bright. Is it possible I over filtered and the organics (including brighteners) were released back into the solution?
How long should I carbon filter a 12 litre bath for?

    Many thanks!

    Micha

Can you send some photos of the issue ?
Are you trying to remove the brightener for a dull finish ?
