I'm totally new to electroplating, but I'd like to plate the bracket seen in the picture (it's painted for now to protect it). Unfortunately, it's previously been affected by rust and has some pitting in one corner.
The electroplater I had in mind unfortunately can't fill prior to plating. Bearing in mind I'm new to this (but have access to some tools, including soldering equipment) - is there anything I can do to repair this myself, other than filling with Bondo and painting?
