Hello,
I'm a long time reader here, but just a hobbyist restorer with a small Zn plating setup.
I have a car wiper motor body I need to Zn plate that has ferrite(?) permanent magnets bonded inside. They are impossible to remove without breaking as they are very brittle.
After a mishap many years ago, I'm now very cautious about poisoning my bath.
Are these magnets likely to cause any harm to my plating bath?
Is it safe to plate this part with the magnets in place?
