  • Insulator to be used in Cr plating

We plate a component to thickness of 0.1 ~ 0.15 mm.
    Current used ~ 2000A for 16 Hrs.
Current density approx : 2 Amp per sq.inch and bath temperature is maintained @55 degree Celsius.

We need to use insulator to separate anode and cathode.
    Which material is best
    1) Polypropylene (PP)
    2) Polytetrafluoroethylene (commertial name: teflon)

pls explain which will better insulator and resist chromic acid.
