  • Gold plating instrument mouthpieces

I am interested in gold plating my silver plated trombone mouthpieces. Is that a possibility? What steps do I need to take, and what gold-plating kits would someone recommend?

      Mouthpieces

Probably 3 or 4 at the most. Again, my main concerns are having a durable, shiny, consistent finish to hold up to the constant use I put them through. Will it be difficult to get a professional looking finished product?

You can use the Gold Plug 'n' Plate solution and set it up as a small plating tank. I do screw-rims in gold this way. I do whole MPs using two silver kits (4oz).
