What can be used as a bandage for the anodes that is real easy to come across?

Anything absorbant...an old, clean t-shirt for example.

Dont use cotton though!!
Use a synthetic type material.

Don't laugh, but white ladies nylons or polyester tights work great....cut off and use the feet and they are the perfect bandage. Saves you having to fuss with rubberbands or other methods to tie or hold the bandages in place, too.
