  • Different Gold Anodes

I read on an old post that if using a gold anode instead of the stainless steel anode, the gold is used up straight from the anode.

If I use a rose gold ring as my anode, will the finish be in rose gold?

What difference does the Fastgold make. I don't think I can but it through the UK supplier for Caswell, but ould like to know.

i dont think you will be happy with using a rose gold anode with a 24k gold plating solution. if you look around on the internet you can find gold anodes in 14 thru 24k for around 30 dollars us . the fast gold is a brush plating solution that has a higher gold content than a tank solution and i highly recommend it, i use it for all my gold work.

What would happen if a rose gold anode was used?

Am I am able to use 14k anodes with the 24k solution that comes with the plug and plate kit?

unless im mistaken i think caswells gold tank or brush plating solutions are all 24K so if you use anything less than a 24k anode i dont know what results your going to get .
