The Copy Chrome™ process is ideal for all your small items such as door handles, brackets, hinges, nuts & bolts, stamped steel covers, etc. It can be applied to:- steel, copper, brass, bronze, old nickel plate, and with the aid of Zincate Primer, aluminum.?
That came from caswells website and tat is all I could find so for now the answer is no. I will get a piece of cast iron and try to plate it in my triple chrome system and I can then give you a better answer. If i can get nickle or copper onto it then the answer would be yes.
Ill post back A.S.A.P. on this matter

I've done some cast iron. It takes the plate fine. I would tone down the acid pickle a bit however. Dilute it 50% vs. what you'd use for steel, copper, or brass. The concern is it might etch the cast iron a bit.
Also--if you have any problem with your cast iron and the nickel solutions, simply use Flash Copper first.
Kind regards,
Ken
