couple electroless questions

  • couple electroless questions

    1. I assume you can heat and cool down the solution as needed or once you mix and heat do you have to use it all up?

    2. With evaporation I am guessing just the water evaporates not the chemicals. So for example if I plate 30 sq. inches in one sitting and come back a few days later obviously my chemicals are still ok but my fluid level may be down because of evaporation so I owuld just need to add distilled water becasuethe chemical do not evaporate is this correct?

    You assume correctly. You can heat up/cool down the solution as needed.

    Correct again, although the chemicals ARE used up during plating, so you\'ll need to replenish the solution periodically. This is different than our regular electroplating kits, where the metal is transferred from the anodes, and the solution is untouched. Evaporation is more of a concern in our electroplating kits than our electroless kits for this reason.
