Stir the chrome kit?

Do I need to stir my chrome plating kit or anything before I use it? it's been close to a year when I used it last.

Flash copper, acid copper, and nickle only need the agitation running while your heating them up to get them ready to go. Chrome should be stirred while your heating (helps heat it faster anyway) and then dummy plated to activate it. Mine sat for about 9 months and this worked for me.
