Hello group,
Can Caswell's Lab Metal product be used to fill pits in pot metal or would the "Pit-Stop" product work better?
Reason for my question is a friend heard that I was undertaking chrome plating and presented me with a very very pitted hood ornament from a 57 Chevy. I figured since the "Lab Metal" product contained aluminum, the ornament could then be treated with Zincate, Flash Copper, Acid Copper, Nickel and final Chrome.
Any ideas or suggestions is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Brian
