    Re: Blue Chromium Question

I think that Copy chrome would work great it has a light blue tint and because it is cobalt steel with a cobalt solution it is a lot safer then chromium also it is not a problem for EPA in fact I was told by our local EPA it was the best replacement for chrome they had ever seen. Another good point it is considerably cheaper to set up and start plating

    Blue Chromium Question

what is this? Can I get the soulutions to do this?
if not, is there a comperable finish??

At work, we used to get grade 8 bolts that were plated in blue chromium for its anti-corrosion properties.

the supplier said they cannot get this anymore due to epa regs.

does anyone have an answer on what other finish could work for this application?
    thanks
