I'm going to be working a piece of metal down to a flat surface by scraping sometime next week and was wondering if it would be a better idea to scrape the surface before and after electroless nickel, or just before. I'd like to keep the look of the scraping, but this is just to create oil reserves and help flatten than for looks. So what do you guys think?
