    1. Can you plate nickle on aluminum? the manuel says that you have to copper plate it first but the pic-a-kit says you can plate nickle without copper.

    2. What is the density of the sp degreaser?

3.The manuel suggests 2-4 volts for nickle plating. would a 6 volt battery be acceptable?

4.This is an idea i had and i was wondering if you think it would work. when building a nichrome controller, make one continous wire that zigzags back and forth across the board instead of multiple lenths. then connect a lead to the beginning of the nichrome. next use another lead to complete the circuit at a certain distance away from the begining for a required amps(similar to a rhestat). this method would work best if a ammeter was already built into the system.

    1. yes - zincate first
    2. No idea why you would need this info, please explain.
    3. The 6 volt supply is ok, providing you control the current. See the video on 'controlling the power using light bulbs'.

    4. It ain't broke.

i dont have a scale to weigh out the amount i need. i just thought it would be easier to measure it in a graduated cylinder(which i do have).

You can get a small kitchen scale for very cheap at most big box stores. It makes things much easier. SS
