  • Stripping Gun Blue & Black Oxide

What is the best way (chemical) to remove an existing gun blue, or black oxide finish on a soft carbon steel base, without altering the base itself?

          Hi Mike,
I tried clicking on this link which seems to be out of date. Do you have a current link for stripping black oxide?

          Thank you,
          Greg
