  • Plugging holes prior to plating.

My plan is to plate using the electroless plating system to get an even plate on oddly shaped tubing. However I need to keep the interior of the tubing brass. I was wondering if I could use basic rubber stopper to plug the ends of the tubing when plating. I'm not very good at chemistry and don't know if the plating chemicals will negetively react to rubber plugs/stoppers.

Sure you can use a rubber stopper. Plastic would be better if you can find a plastic plug, but rubber would work. It might degrade over time from the heat.
