  • Golf Club Chroming

I'm looking at chroming golf clubs and new to all of this. I have read some of the manual and still a little confused. I've been gun bluing irons but want to expand my craftsmanship. I would like to start out slowly and learn how to do it right.

I just want a starting point of some equipment I may need, to at least experiment. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

Best starting point is always a one gallon nickel kit or Copy Chrome kit. This will teach you the basics of plating without a huge investment.

Thanks for the info. That's probably where I will start. What type of investment am I looking into to do the real thing. I would like to have a copper, nickel, chrome golf club when i am finished. Both satin and high polish. Thank you again.

A simple triple chrome kit will do the job nicely. They start at $495.00.

Should I worry about the copy chrome holding up on the golf club? Because the copy chrome definately sounds like the way to go. But I'm worried it may chip or wear quickly.

          Thank you

It will hold up as well as real chrome. We have quite a few customers using this on golf clubs, without issue.
