Copy Chrome or Chrome?

Just wondering what the advantage of regular chrome would be over the copy chrome. For the price difference and time difference in applying them, ther has to be some disadvantage of the copy chrome over regular chrome. Thanks for any insight!

Sure - one is the real thing, the other is simulated. If your application calls for a REAL chrome plate, Triple chrome is the way to go.

Is chrome better than copy chrome in terms of durability and overall finish quality?

Yes and no. Chrome is slightly better simply because it's a three step plating process, copper, nickel, then chrome. The plating is three times as thick, so the protection is improved. It's unlikely that anyone would ever tell the the difference though, as both finishes are extremely durable and can stand up to wear and tear very well.
