I want to polish the brake disc on my Yamaha Roadstar. How do I get started?

hi there laserman.

Your lucky because polishing brake disk is my specialties.

1- start with 240grit grinder
2- then 320grit dual sander
3- 600grit orbital 3/32"x 5"
4- sisal + formax #37 compound
5- treated airbuff + formax #34
6- coton sewn 3/8"stitch + formax green
7- flannel + formax blue

Et voila (approx. 1 hour per disk both side)


p.s. you also need a lot off patient because it's stainless 403 a very hard stainless to polish. if you need help write to me.
