Felt Bob cleaning

When I use the felt bobs to get into tight spots they dont last long they get all black.Can you clean them like you would a buffing wheel? or is there another way?.

They don't exactly require cleaning unless you want to remove excess compound. Just run it against a rag until the excess comes off. It is alright that they are black.
