  • Looking for a polish or wax to "protect" bare aluminum?

hey guys, I just can't seem to find a product to protect "mirror finished" aluminum. I've tried a few that sounded like they would 'work' but ended up scratching.... including Zephyr 40 and 3m mag and aluminum polish.

i'm certainly not knocking their products.....they are excellent quality. But just not what I happen to need.

What can i use once in a while to remove the gradual oxidation and just maintain the shine? Should i just use a good automotive polish?? Thanks for any suggestions.

I have used this on my aluminum and copper sculpture for 15 years. It also has a wax that prevents oxidation for at least a year, indoors. I rub it hard with a well washed microfiber cloth. It removes those almost microscopic scratches that remain after buffing.
