looks great ... i got some brass from a old house that i need to polish up for a customer .... can it be clear coated? or just leave it alone ?.. i did stuff for them before and it still looks ok but i told them to wax it a few times a year

it can be clear coated, but i prefer to use a high quality marine wax and just reapply about every two months, either way its gonna tarnish and if i have to rebuff the brass its much easier without a clear coat.
