  • Need help with Polishing Aluminum Diamond Plate, real bad.

What, other than old fashioned elbow grease, can I polish diamond plate with. I need to restore the orig. finish (shiny). Its on a fire truck and there quite a lot of it. What type of buffer or wheel can I use??

I've had good results using a vented buff and white rouge on the diamond plate box on my work truck. The diamond plate needs lots of cleaning afterwards, but that's nothing some hot water and castrol super clean won't take care of.
