  • protecting after polishing

Hey guys...new to the forum as well. I have a question: After I fininish polishing the a-arms on my 4 wheeler (steel), what must i do to protect them? Is there anything made specifically for this or would I just to to pay up and get them chromed? Thanks,

with steel you can do 3 thing's
    1. use zoop
    2. wax (still will rust)
    3. spray with clear

or better yet have the powder coated with chrome and a high gloss clear ... i got the stuff in stock for that

Thanks for the quick reply customandsound. That leads me to a few more questions. I haven't polished them yet, so I was wondering if polished steel looks as good as the polished aluminum pictures I see on here? Next, I was glancing through the powder coating forum and saw that it seems people were having bad luck with the chrome powder after they sprayed clear? Thanks for any more answers, greatly appreciated.
