    OK that last post is waaay over my head. What does polishing silverware have to do with Ben-Gay? Just a question.

    You\'ll want to use a VERY LIGHT TOUCH on these items so you don\'t remove too much metal.

    Use some canton flannel wheels and blue or red compounds.

    Hi, I am new to the board and want to know if I can use a bench grinder for polishing sterling and silver plate flatware rather than doing it all by hand. If so, can you give me an idea of what I will need at a minimum to start? Thanks for any help you can give!!
