Re: Removing small scratches from Chrome
hi
I am interested in your products for removing very minute scratches from chrome (no miracles expected) but the link in this thread to them no longer exists (7/26/0
Could you please provide a url that would get me to both the compound and buffing wheel most appropriate for attempting scratch removal??
thank you!
John

Not if you use the right compound.
The white compound and blue compound are made to polish chrome and other hard metals like nickel.

Re: Removing small scratches from Chrome
Try polishing with a Spiral Sewn Cotton buffing wheel and a white compound.
We sell a kit that has 4\" wheels ideal for mounting on an electric drill.

Removing small scratches from Chrome
On my custom bike, I have a few chrome parts (such as the speedometer housing, transmission end cover, and handlebars) that are chrome and it appears to be very good quality chrome. However, I have a few small scratches in various places in the chrome, most are not very deep. I have tried using a chrome polish and rubbing with a soft cloth, but they persist. Is this a lost cause or is there any way to remove scratches from chrome with out having to re-chrome?
