  • buffing chrome

    Season's Greeting,
I'm having a terrible time buffing out scuff marks and scratches on golf clubs. I'm using a spiral cotton with tripoli and a loose cotton wheel with blue and the results are not acceptable. Does anyone have ideas?

    Re: buffing chrome

I suspect the club is chrome or nickel plated, therefore tripoli is useless. You need a white compound. The blue is a final finish on softer metals/plastics. You need to download our free buffing and polishing booklet and study it to see which compounds do what

    Hope this helps
