      Looking better. One thing about pics is if you're using them for comaparison it should be in exactly the same lighting conditions (which is sometimes hard to do).

      After doing this for money for several years (and being pretty much self-taught), I've come to think that it will probably take a good five years or more to get good at it (not that I'll ever be 100% satisfied). So if one is only doing a few pieces occasionally, expect to spend a lot of time on them if you want perfection. My own main fault is not spending enough time on a given step before moving on to the next - then I have to start over, which is a real time-waster.

        I will definitely remember that about taking your time on each step! I was really dissapointed on the first step, but once I read more and tried it again the results are more like I want. I can't wait to have the time to do my aluminum rim.
