sand paper help

hello all,
i am looking at a add on ebay for sandpaper..can any one help me and suggest what grit i should go for for prep on my parts.
25 SHEETS OF WET AND DRY ---LATEX BACKED --TOP QUALITY.
FULL SIZED SHEETS 230 X 280
5 SHEETS OF 5 DIFFERENT GRADES . YOU CHOOSE FROM
60, 80,120,240,320,400,600,800,1000,1200,2000, 2500 GRIT.
MAKE UP YOUR OWN KIT-- IE 5 SHEETS OF EACH 120,240,400,600, 1000 GRIT.

thanks once again m8,
just trying to get enough paper as poss befor i ask you guys what grit to start and finish with...havent decided what part of my ride i will start with..might decide on the primary chain cover,but i will ask when that time comes,i have ordered my 1st set of wheels 8'' and i will slowly increase them depending on how good i am with sneakin' money away from the wife..looking at compound prices now.i am definately taking it slow,i can prep the parts but i want to have all the tools,its all money starting off.iwas going to start on the carb i mentioned in another thread but thats intricate and i havent a dremel,i know a loose wheel will do alot of the polishing in tight spots,but sanding in the tight areas will test me,any advice m8.

One way to do it is the use a Dremel with a 1/2" buff and some greaseless compound. Or you can cut some wood sticks and wrap the sandpaper around them and go-for-it. Some jewelry supply houses have smaller buffs which might be worth checking out.

thanks m8,i'll have a hunt in my garage for my dremel if its there,but if ya have kept up with my threads its a battle to what part of my bike i start with as i havent got all the tools etc,one minute i want to start on this and then that..i go on the forum and you guys put me right on any problem,so until i get that specific tool i go onto another part......i knew i should of just bought as much of the kit as possible b4 i asked..ha ha
but the grit grading in UK and USA still throws me.
