I'm tryuing to polish some covers and a rear end off my bike. I purchased a Dremel but it appears as though I only can use a 1/8" collet in it. Unfortunately it won't accept a 6" sisal wheel or any other large polishing wheel for that matter. I have also tried using my air powered grinder on the wheel but it bogs down and won't keep enough air pressure to keep the wheel running at a continuous pressure. I keep hearing about other individuals using drills, such as Makitas and others brand names. Can someone give me some advice on what I should try or the model # of the Makita high speed drills I keep hearing about?

Any old electric drill and some 4" wheels should make quick work of it.

Polishing
Well I think I finally got it. It appears as if the tools weren't really a problem but rather my technique. After re-reading the booklet, especially the cut and polish section I finally began seeing some results. Now, I just need to get the rest of the covers off and see if I can do as nice a job as the first one. Thanks for all the helpful advice!!
