  • What is the proper way...

What is the proper way to store bars of compound? Sorry, I am new to polishing, or at least new to "proper" polishing, and couldn't find any information on the forum or Caswell's main site... Obviously, I would assume you wouldn't want to store the compound where dirt or chemicals could contaminant it, but what about temperature extremes or humidity? I live in the Mid-Atlantic region where summer ambient temps are high 90s with equal humidity and my shop can reach 120 by mid-afternoon if closed up... Thanks!

You can just leave them in open air. If they get too dry put them in some water for a while to soften them up. Zipblock bags work well too.
