i have tried both green and white rouge, with all kinds of wheels, rpm and pressure.it's hard to describe, like a goldish haze on the metal.after i'm done "cutting"the metal w'a hard wheel and tripoli, the only thing i hav found to eliminate the haze is to clean the metal with brightner and then color buff.it take's forever to get it right.i enjoy polishing but it takes way too long to get a perfect shine(2-3 days for a typical peterbuilt tractor)

Re: perfect shine
The haze could also be caused by using too much compound. Use very small amounts on the buffing wheels.--
