  • Shocking blaster?

Anyone out there have any suggestions for dealing with the static charge I keep getting with my blaster? I'm using a shop vac for some extraction, and good lord I swear it almost hurts when my leg comes close to the metal blast cabinet. My hands seem fine, but the metal cabinet itself is becoming a Tesla machine. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would run a ground wire from the cabinet to a grounding rod.

Thanks guys, I'll give it a shot. Wasn't sure if it was from the cabinet or the shop vac - and if the grounding the cabinet alone would be enough.
