  • Removing chrome to reveal nickel

I have a guitar bridge like this one:

It's chrome, but I would like it to be polished nickel to match the rest of the guitar's hardware.
I suspect the screws are steel, but other parts may be brass or pot metal.
How would you suggest I go about it?

And one other question: If I remove the chrome with muriatic acid, would the resulting nickel finish be shiny, or would it need polishing to make it bright? I'm not sure how I would polish all of those nooks and crannies.

The problem was solved by exchanging the chrome bridge for one with a nickel finish.
