Had good luck with chrome powder!

It looks like polished aluminum when cured. Matched all my polished aluminum and ceramic coated headers very nicely. The valve covers, butterflies, and tunnel ram emblem are done with the gloss yellow powder. The tunnel ram, valley cover, and carb riser are done with the chrome powder. I've never posted a photo here before, so I hope this works...

I have my own personal web space (through my ISP) where the photo is actually located, then I just used a HTML code to point to the picture address. Good luck!

That looks fantastic!! Did you use a clear topcoat??
I've coated a few parts with 'almost chrome' also, with great results...but I've found a clear topcoat will reduce the metallic look to more of a silver-paint look. Does an un-cleared coating hold up pretty well to an underhood enviroment?

I don't know, I don't have a hood I didn't use any clear, just the regular chrome powder. It turned out very shiny, and I'm pleased with the results. It is much better looking than silver paint. It looks deceptively like polished aluminum. I have a pound of clear powder, but I haven't tried it on anything yet. The gloss yellow turned out very shiny, and the chrome looked great too, so I haven't needed the clear for anything. Someday I will experiment with glitters, simulated metal flakes, and translucents, but for now I'm very happy with my results.
